Garland Homecoming
I was so honored when the very talented Suzanne from Suzanne Garland Photography [http://www.suzannegarland.com] asked me to photograph her homecoming! Once the buses arrived it was pitch dark with no lights near where the Marines were reunited with their families. Between that and fighting for space with the 20374038 people there, it made for quite the challenge but Suzanne and her hubby were so in love, it made it super easy to capture the emotion of this beautiful homecoming once they found each other, even in the dark!

DJ & Sara | Couples Shoot
This was such a fun shoot & very different from my typical shoots. This wasn’t staged at all as far as “wardrobes” go or anything – this is just my husband and I’s friend DJ & his lady Sara. I first met DJ when my husband and I were dating. Him and my husband were friends and I actually ended up being roomies with DJ for a while and grew to love his crazy self. As tough as he looks, he has a big heart and is super sweet. I like him because he always compliments me the first time he sees me lol AND he thinks I’m funny, haha. I was thrilled to meet his new lady and could instantly tell that they were super happy together. They were so much fun to photograph and it was nice to do something a little different than my usual “look.” Anyways, he’d come to me wanting a couples shoot done at the clubhouse of the motorcycle club he is in, the Wingmen of Jacksonville, NC.

Most of them were too naughty for public view 😉 But these ones are safe lol Enjoy!
Williams Family
All natural sun, all natural sky, and all natural beautiful family. I love this sweet session with this sweet family. This adorable little lady was oh so serious when it came to the camera, even with me making my crazy faces & noises to try to get her to laugh, nope…only mommy & daddy had the power to get her to smile, and when she did it was sweet! I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from this session.
